Dear Mr. Brunt
In Hall's absence on leave I am writing to acknowledge your letter of the 29th March. I am glad to hear that you agres to the terms of service offered to you by the Government of Hong Kong.
I gather that you have already seen the Crown Agents and have learned from them what inoculations you need. I have written to them, asking them officially to arrange your flight and when they let me know the flight number I will inform Hong Kong of the date of your arrival.
I think there should be no difficulty about the cost of your personal accident Insurance and I have asked the Crown Agents to arrange this for you, if you have not already written to an Insurance Company about it.
If you have done so, the Crown Agents have been authorised to pay the premium up to approximately £16 (the premium paid on behalf of the last expert to visit the Colony). Perhaps you
would kindly let the Crown Agents know direct what you want done about this.
I think that the above ties up the loose
/ends,
L.P. Brunt, Esq., B.Sc(Eng).,A.M.I.C.E.
